The Youth Association for Rural Reconstruction is a Non-Governmental Voluntary Organization has been working since May 05, 1982 for all round development of the needy and undeveloped areas. The youth force is its friend and YARR is really the friend to them in it’s though and action. This is the underlying and intrinsic spirit and contemplation of a group of educated youth who, under the dynamic and all pervasive leadership of Mr. Ranjit K. Pattanaik got together to form the “YOUTH ASSOCIATION” at Boinda in 1982. Mr. Pattanaik, after completing his post-graduation in Social Science and Social Works in Nagpur University, Maharastra, had returned to the village with decisive determination to utilize the Youth potential for all-out betterment and multilateral advancement of the muralist’s as a whole.

01 YARR believes and works with the unorganized labour to
organize them for their rights to ensure minimum wages, right to get work and ensure welfare measures to the families by bargain with the structures.

02Agriculture development: develop more water harvesting
structures and revive traditional irrigation systems, disseminate bio-village concept at large to save the dry areas from acute drought.

03 Environment preservation: proper use of water, land and forest and management of flora and fauna.
Maintaining bio-diversity and create awareness among the people not protest against big industries, river dams and mines. Also village forest preservation by the village forest protection committees is given prime importance. Read More >>>
